Description

The role:

• Supporting the governance structure, including Business Controls and Risk analysis across new / expanding products, including a focus on electronic trading including Models and Algorithmic ('Algo') trading capability.
• Assist in the supervision and monitoring of a number of non-market, including operational and compliance risks associated with Financial Markets and Algo trading activity.
• Assist the Head of BCM International drive a strong, embedded risk culture that optimises risk / reward and helps achieve efficient business objectives.
• Protect the business by assisting the business in carrying out effective risk practices and to continuously improve them.
• Support the business risk team by ensuring that the Risk and Compliance Matrices process is managed and maintained in line with the 3 Lines of Defence frameworks and policies.

The candidate:

• 7 years + within a markets / E-trading environment
• Knowledge of FX, Rates & credit trading
• Experience within risk or compliance looking at E-trading regulation (MiFID RTS 6 etc)
• Knowledge and experience of Non-financial risk management
