Investigo have partnered with a Financial Services firm that are seeking a Financial Risk Analyst to join their Risk Management team in London on a 6-month contract.You'll sit within the second line of defence, overseeing credit, counterparty, and market risk exposures across EMEA, working closely with Front Office and key stakeholders in a fast-paced trading environment. The role would suit a commercially aware risk progressional who understands counterparty risk and can contribute to monitoring, reporting and support for new business activity. Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor and analyse credit and market risk exposuresSet and manage counterparty credit limitsTrack exposure utilisation, aged trades, and breachesOversee pre-trade controls and real-time riskLiaise with clearing firms on trading limitsSupport client reviews and risk reportingPartner with Front Office to provide risk oversight and challengeRequirementsExperience in financial, credit, or counterparty risk within financial servicesStrong understanding of market risk and exposure managementExperience in a bank, brokerage, or trading environmentKnowledge of multi-asset products (equities, fixed income, derivatives)Strong analytical and communication skillsTechnical skills (e.g. Python, SQL, VBA, or R) are a plus
